Book Blast:  This is a chance for your students to be the first to check out new books that just arrived in the library.  Similar to "Speed Dating," students will rotate around the library tables getting the chance to look at all the new library books.  Once time expires, each student will choose one book to check out-regardless if they are overdue or have too many books.

Flashlight Reading:  Students will bring in their own library books, classroom books, coloring books etc. and have the chance to read by flashlight.  We will close the window blinds, cut out the lights, and enjoy uniterrupted reading time in the dark.

Gaming: Even though we are having Gaming Day in your classrooms, bring your students to the library to spread out and play a few games in the library.
